Cookie policy
Last updated: 19 October 2026
This site uses at most four cookies, all of its own, and does not track you. That is why there is no banner asking for your consent: there is nothing to consent to.
1. What they are, in short
A cookie is a small file the site asks your browser to keep, and that the browser sends back with every page. Without it the site would have no memory: you would put a piece in the cart and on the next page the cart would be empty again.
The law distinguishes technical cookies, which make the site work and do not need your consent, from profiling cookies, which follow you around and need consent beforehand. We only use the first kind.
2. Which cookies we use
| Name | What it is for | Duration |
|---|---|---|
cirmuluz_cart | Remembers what you put in the cart: which product, which options and, for the custom beam, a code that finds it again. It only holds these choices, never your name and never the prices — the server recalculates those. | 30 days |
cirmuluz_lang | Remembers whether you read the site in English or Italian, so next time it opens in your language. | 1 year |
cirmuluz_admin | Keeps the shop owner logged in. As a customer you will never see this cookie in your browser. | 8 hours |
cirmuluz_qr | Only if you arrive by scanning one of our printed QR codes (sticker, business card, flyer). It holds a random number that remembers which print you came from: if you buy, we know which print works. It holds nothing about you, does not follow you to other sites and we only use it to count. | 30 days |
Cart, session and QR cookies are httpOnly: no script on the page can read them, not even ours.
The site goes through Cloudflare's network, which shields it from attacks. If a visit looks automated, Cloudflare may set a technical cookie of its own (for example __cf_bm or cf_clearance) to recognise who has already passed the check: it is for security only, does not track you and lasts a few hours or days at most.
3. What is NOT here
- No analytics cookies, apart from
cirmuluz_qrabove, which only counts which prints bring visits and orders. Visits to the site are counted by Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device: it only shows us overall numbers (see the privacy notice). - No Facebook, Google, TikTok or similar pixels.
- No advertising cookies, no profiles, no retargeting.
- No fonts loaded from external servers: the site's fonts are downloaded when it is built and served from our own domain, so nobody else learns you are reading this page.
4. When you leave the site to pay
If you choose card or PayPal, the payment happens on Stripe's or PayPal's pages. From that moment you are on their sites, and they set their own cookies — usually for security and fraud prevention. We have no control over those cookies: their own policies apply.
5. How to delete them
You can delete cookies from your browser settings, under privacy or site data. One practical note: if you delete cirmuluz_cart you lose your cart. Nothing else will stop working.
7. Questions
