Terms of sale
Last updated: 19 October 2026
The rules of buying, written to be read. They apply to every order placed on this site and form the contract between you and the person who makes the pieces. The Italian version is the original; this translation is provided for your convenience.
1. Who sells
The seller is Serramento OK di Rusu Dragos Petru & C. S.a.s., trading under the cirmuluz brand, registered office Via Nogarole 50, 37047 San Bonifacio (VR), Italia, Italy, VAT number 04832830238, REA registration VR-449784. Email [email protected], certified email (PEC) [email protected].
If you buy as a consumer — for purposes outside your trade or profession — you have the protections of EU consumer law and of the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005), including those described below.
2. What you buy
Wooden climbing training gear — hangboards, edges, Edge Duel, the custom wall beam and the custom portable hangboard — made one at a time to order, and gift cards to spend in the shop. The photos and drawings on the site show the product as faithfully as possible, but wood is not moulded plastic: grain, colour and small differences in tone change from piece to piece and are not defects. The stated dimensions have the normal tolerance of woodworking.
The laser-engraved cirmuluz mark or pine cone is our maker's mark, not an option: we do not do personalised engravings.
3. Prices
Prices are in euros. They include VAT. Shipping costs depend on the country and the weight of the parcel, and are shown separately at checkout before you confirm.
The price that counts is the one shown in the summary when you order. If a price turns out to be obviously wrong because of a technical fault, we will let you know before starting work and you can confirm at the right price or cancel at no cost.
4. How the contract is made
- Choose the product and its options (version, edges) or design the custom beam or hangboard with the configurator.
- At checkout enter the shipping details and choose how to pay.
- By confirming the order you make an offer to buy and accept these terms.
- The contract is concluded when you receive the confirmation email with the order number. From that moment the piece is queued for the workshop.
We may decline obviously anomalous orders (quantities incompatible with handmade production, non-existent shipping details, suspected fraud): in that case we refund the full amount immediately.
5. Payment
- Credit or debit card, through Stripe. Stripe receives the card details directly: they never pass through our servers.
- PayPal, with your account or as a guest.
- Bank transfer: we give you the bank details and the order number to use as reference. Work starts when the transfer arrives; if it does not arrive within seven days the order is cancelled.
6. Times and shipping
Pieces are made to order: the parcel leaves by the date shown at checkout before payment (usually five working days, longer if the workshop is closed for holidays), plus the courier (usually 2-3 days in Italy, 5-8 to the rest of the European Union). The times given are good-faith estimates, not essential terms; if we expect a significant delay we will email you and you can cancel with a full refund.
Pre-order. While a pre-order is running (the band at the top of every page says so), the pre-order prices are already the ones in the cart and at checkout and payment is taken straight away, when you order. We make the pieces in the meantime and shipping starts from the period shown in the band, at checkout before payment and in the confirmation email: it is an indication, not a guaranteed date, and when your parcel leaves you receive an email with the tracking number. Pre-order prices apply to orders paid by the last day shown; gift vouchers keep their usual price and can be used, while discount codes do not apply to pre-order prices. The right of withdrawal and the guarantee stay the same as always, from delivery.
We ship to Italy, the other countries of the European Union, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and Norway. Outside the European Union the sale is an export: the price does not include Italian VAT, while the VAT of the destination country, any duties and customs charges are paid by you to the courier on delivery, as stated at checkout before payment. The wall beam ships only within Italy and the European Union. When the parcel leaves you receive an email with the tracking number, when the service provides one. The risk of loss or damage passes to you on delivery.
If the parcel arrives visibly damaged, accept it with a written reservation on the courier's receipt and send us a photo: we will make the piece again.
7. Right of withdrawal
You have fourteen days from delivery to change your mind, without giving a reason. Just write to [email protected] with the order number; you may use the model withdrawal form of the EU Consumer Rights Directive, but you do not have to.
Send the piece back undamaged within fourteen days of telling us. The return shipping is at your expense. We refund you within fourteen days of receiving it, using the same payment method you used, including the standard delivery costs.
The exception, and it matters: the right of withdrawal does not apply to the custom wall beam and the custom portable hangboarddesigned with the configurator. Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU (Art. 59(1)(c) of the Italian Consumer Code) excludes goods made to the consumer's specifications: you choose their size, pockets and fixing, and the technical drawing you see before ordering is the one we make them from. All the other pieces remain subject to the normal right of withdrawal.
Gift cards. The gift card code is emailed as soon as the payment is confirmed. It is valid for 12 months from purchase, on the whole shop, and is used in a single order: if the order costs less than the card, the difference does not carry over and is not paid out in cash. An unused gift card can be returned within 14 days of purchase, with a refund of the amount paid.
8. Legal guarantee of conformity
As a consumer you have a two-year legal guarantee from delivery. If the piece does not conform — it breaks because of a defect, the dimensions do not match those stated or the beam's drawing — you are entitled to repair or replacement free of charge and, if neither is possible, to a price reduction or to termination of the contract.
Normal wear is not a defect: gear used for training wears, and wood changes colour with light and with the sweat of your hands. The guarantee does not cover damage from misuse, wrong mounting or long exposure to rain and sun.
Safety note. Climbing and finger training carry a risk of injury. Hang or screw the pieces to a solid support, check cords and fixings regularly, and do not use them without warming up. We are not liable for the consequences of inadequate mounting or of use that does not follow these instructions.
9. Complaints and disputes
Write to [email protected]: nine problems out of ten are solved with an email and a piece made again.
If we cannot agree, before going to court you can try conciliation before an ADR body listed by the Italian Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy, or the consumer bodies of your own country.
Note for those who have read other terms of sale: there is no link to the European ODR platform here because that platform was closed on 20 July 2025 by Regulation (EU) 2024/3228. Pointing you to an address that no longer answers would help nobody.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
The contract is governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you can bring proceedings in the courts of your place of residence. If you buy as a business, the court of Verona has jurisdiction.
11. Personal data
How we handle your data is explained in the privacy notice; the site's cookies in the cookie policy.
