Edge Duel
Two-player finger tug of war
from €46.00€55.00
Pre-order: ships from early December.
Edge Duel is a finger tug of war for two climbers. Each player hooks their fingertips on their own wooden edge and pulls the sliding carriage towards themselves: whoever drags it all the way to their side wins. Short, intense rounds that train crimp strength and forearms, and settle every argument at home, at the gym or at the crag.
How to play: put the board flat on a table and sit facing each other, each player takes one edge with the fingertips and pulls steadily. The carriage slides 100 mm inside the frame: first to bring it to their own end wins the round.
Each edge is held by two screws and can be swapped in a minute. Two pairs are included, one mounted and one spare. The standard set is 20 mm mounted and 15 mm spare, but above you can pick the depths yourself, anything from 7 to 30 mm, and add extra pairs. Give the stronger climber the smaller edge and the duel becomes fair between different levels.
Frame of three layers of birch plywood, glued together, carriage guided inside the frame, pine edges, steel screws in threaded inserts, cirmuluz logo laser engraved.
Edge Duel is a training tool for adults, not a toy. Warm up your fingers first, pull progressively and never jerk the edge, stop at the first discomfort and check the screws before every session.
