Ten climbing edges in solid olive wood: five pairs, 7, 10, 15, 20 and 25 mm deep, each 85 mm wide. Screw them to a board, a beam or your home wall and build your own finger training setup, from a comfortable 25 mm edge down to a hard 7 mm crimp.

Olive is a dense, hard wood with a very fine grain. It feels warm and natural under the fingers, it is kind to your skin and it lasts for years. Every piece has its own grain, and a set can include a burl piece with a marbled pattern, as in the photos: no two sets are the same.

Five sizes, in pairs: 25 mm for warm-ups and long hangs, 20 mm the classic training edge, 15 mm for half crimp strength, 10 mm small crimps, 7 mm tiny edges for experienced climbers. Two of each size, one for each hand.

Every edge is cut, drilled and shaped in my small workshop in Northern Italy, then sanded by hand. The gripping edge is rounded so it does not cut into your fingers. Natural finish: no varnish and no oil, just olive wood.

How to mount: screw each edge to a solid board or wall at least 18 mm thick, with the rounded edge facing out and up, using both holes. Check that every piece is tight before each session.

Finger training puts high loads on tendons and pulleys: warm up well, start with the deeper edges and part of your weight on your feet, and progress gradually. Photos are for illustration only: the grain is unique to every piece.
